Hey everyone I wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and thank everyone who has supported me this past year. In 2020 I’m excited about new value I’m bringing to clients like more market updates, RE investing education and my monthly newsletter.
This past year, I’ve covered Colorado Springs to Loveland and everywhere in between. Most of my business is with primary home owners, but half is with buy and hold investors.
If you’re an investor, I do have an off-market property in Park Hill North by Stapleton. It’s next to Station 26 Brewing and new condos are going up across the street. If you’re interested, give me a call.
As far as the market goes, Denver has been in a strong sellers market the past 8 years and last year was no exception. In 2020 we’re expecting more of the same. This past year we’ve had a little more inventory and it will need to double before we get back to a balanced market where buyers and sellers are equal. But for now, demand continues to outpace supply.
No one knows what interest rates will do in the future, but I think they will rise a bit this year. Remember, it’s an election year and the Fed only controls short-term, not long-term rates. Even if the Fed raises rates, it doesn’t directly impact the 30-year mortgage. Today’s rates are close to 50-year lows so they are unlikely to fall much lower.
Who do you know looking to buy, sell or invest in Real estate? Weather they are in the front range, the mountains, or anywhere in Colorado, I can help point them in the right direction. I wish you a happy and prosperous new year and look forward to catching up soon.
